Child Safety Standards
Last updated: 1 October 2026
Braap is an app for finding and organising motorcycle rides, run by Amin Laanaya. This page sets out our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and what we do when we find it.
Zero tolerance
Braap has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. It is banned in every part of the app — profiles, photos, rides, ride chats and direct messages. That includes:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, real or generated, including links to it.
- Sexualising a minor in words or images.
- Grooming — contacting a minor to build trust for sexual purposes, or asking a minor to move to another app to do so.
- Sextortion, or any other threat or pressure aimed at a minor.
- Trafficking, or offering or seeking a minor for sexual purposes.
An account that does any of this is removed for good, with no warning.
Who Braap is for
You must be 16 or older to use Braap — it's an app for people who ride motorcycles. We don't knowingly allow anyone younger. If we find an account belonging to a child, we remove it.
How to report it
- In the app: report the rider, ride or message directly and say what's wrong in the reason. Every profile, ride and message has a report option.
- By email: [email protected]. Use this as well if a child may be in danger, so it reaches a person straight away.
- Block the rider from their profile. Blocking works both ways: their profile, rides and messages disappear from your app, and yours from theirs.
If a child is in immediate danger, call the police first — 112 in Europe, or your local emergency number. Braap is not an emergency service.
You can also report child sexual abuse material directly to Offlimits in the Netherlands or to NCMEC's CyberTipline.
What we do when it's reported
- We review reports and act within 24 hours. Reports involving a child are dealt with first.
- We remove the content and the account as soon as we confirm it.
- We report it to the authorities. Confirmed child sexual abuse material goes to the relevant authorities — the Dutch police and Offlimits in the Netherlands, and NCMEC — as the law requires. We keep what they need for that report, and cooperate with law enforcement on it.
